It is a priority of the Danish Government to demonstrate to the world the Danish success in developing climate friendly products, technologies and competences. As a result the Climate Consortium Denmark has been established with the purpose of increasing awareness of energy and climate solutions developed by Danish businesses. Furthermore, the aim is to ensure that Danish research institutions, concepts and technologies aimed at reducing global emission of greenhouse gases are given due attention.

Climate Consortium Denmark is a public-private partnership between the Danish state and five major business organisations;

 

The Danish Wind Industry Association
The Danish Construction Association
The Confederation of Danish Industries
Danish Agriculture and Food Council
The Danish Energy Association

 

This joint effort shows our firm commitment to help solve the climate challenges.

 

A primary project under the Climate Consortium Denmark is EnergyMap, which presents Danish climate technologies with the aim of facilitating international collaboration through export, joint research and development as well as through investment opportunities.

 

The initiative to form EnergyTours has been taken in cooperation with VisitDenmark, the national tourism organisation in Denmark.

HRH Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark is the patron of Climate Consortium Denmark.
